Grace Life Church believes no one should go hungry. Our food pantry in Greensboro, NC, provides church food assistance and several other community outreach programs. We ensure families and individuals have the necessities and extras that brighten days and bring smiles to faces.

We believe in keeping our neighbors fed and supported through outreach programs. You don’t have to be a church member to get our help, though we would love for you to become part of our family.

Grace Life Church Food Assistance: The Food Pantry

Affordable food donations for those in need at grace life church food pantry.

Get full bags of the groceries you need to keep yourself and your family fed, even when you can’t afford groceries. All are welcome. No judgment, only warmth, kindness, and free food because no one should feel alone or experience hunger.

Our food pantry is open four times each month. The Grace Life Church Food Pantry is available on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the month.

Please try to arrive by 11:45 a.m. to ensure there’s ample time for our friendly volunteers to serve you.

Food Assistance Programs: Weekend Meals for School-Aged Children

Grace Life Church partners with four community schools in Greensboro, NC, to support their administration, students, and teachers. As part of this support, we provide free weekend meals for school-aged children during the school season. Currently, over 70 families receive free weekend meals.

Community Outreach: Additional Support for Those in Need

If your family needs books, Bibles, or additional resources, Grace Life Outreach (GLO) is happy to provide them. Grace Life Church’s Benevolence Program is available to those with more specific financial needs. Did your employer hold mass layoffs and leave you short on your monthly rent? Are you struggling to pay your electricity bill while your spouse is deployed? We may be able to help.

How to Support Our Food Pantry in Greensboro, NC

Join us in supporting our community and helping our neighbors. All you need is a friendly face, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help a neighbor in need or the funds to donate cash or purchase food pantry items.

No. All are welcome. Grace Life Outreach – GLO serves all residents of Greensboro and the surrounding areas, regardless of your religious affiliation.

Grace Life Church welcomes families and individuals to come twice per month. This allows us to help as many of our neighbors as possible.

Of course. We do have a quick form we ask you to fill out, but you do not need to present an ID, and the information you share is private. It’s our priority to protect everyone’s privacy.

We accept any non-perishable items. Canned meats and vegetables are always in high demand, as are cooking essentials (herbs and spices) and pantry staples (flour and sugar). Baby formula, baby food, dried beans, mac and cheese kits, pasta, and peanut butter are other helpful food items.

Consider donating other items that people on SNAP cannot purchase with benefits because they are not classified as “food. Products include items we feel are essential to everyday life, such as:

  • Baby wipes and diapers
  • Cleaning supplies (Household cleaners and sponges)
  • Dish soap
  • Facial tissues
  • Personal care items (Body wash, haircare products, shaving cream, and soap)
  • Toilet paper
